Tadoo Audio Visualizer
This policy covers Tadoo Audio Visualizer (the "App") on Android, iPhone, and iPad. The App does not collect, store, or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising software, and it sends nothing to Tadoo LLC or anyone else. Everything it does happens on your device. The only time the App uses the network is to let your app store show a price and process a purchase you choose to make.

To draw visuals that move with sound, the App needs to read audio, and how it does so depends on your device. On Android, it reads the sound your device is already playing; Android labels the permission for this "record audio", but the microphone is not used. On iPhone and iPad, where the system does not let one app read another app's audio, the App may instead ask to use the microphone or to play music from your library. In every case the audio is analysed in memory for a fraction of a second and then discarded. It is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere, and you can withdraw the permission at any time in your device's settings.
The App shows the current track's title, artist, album, artwork, and playback position, and sends the play, pause, skip, and seek commands you tap. On Android, the system only allows this for apps that have notification access, so the App asks for it; it uses that access solely for the purpose described here and does not read, store, or transmit the content of your notifications. On iPhone and iPad, the App uses the system's media controls. This access is optional: without it the visuals still work, but track details and playback controls do not.
The App saves your settings on your device, such as the chosen visualizer, sensitivity, smoothing, and the audio-sync delay for each speaker or pair of headphones (identified by its product name). These never leave your device and are removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data.
Any purchase is processed by the store you obtained the App from (the Apple App Store or Google Play) under that store's own privacy policy. Tadoo LLC does not receive your payment details. The stores give developers aggregate sales and crash statistics that do not identify you.
The App shares nothing with third parties, because it has nothing to share. The media apps you use alongside it have their own privacy policies.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no information from anyone of any age.
If a future version changes any of the above, for example by adding advertising, this policy will be updated first, and the current version will always be available in the App and at https://tadoo.net/audiovisualizer/privacy.html.
